Protection from violence

Interim measures, protection for victims of domestic violence and swift action in crisis situations.

If you or your children are experiencing violence, your safety comes first. I will help you make swift use of the legal tools that can protect you.

01If you are in danger

If you are in immediate danger, please call the police on 158 or the emergency line 112. Round-the-clock help is also available from the National Helpline for Women Experiencing Violence on 0800 212 212 (free of charge).

In urgent cases, please contact me directly on +421 905 736 582 – including outside office hours.

02How I can help you

  • an application for an interim measure – removal of the violent person from the shared home,
  • an order prohibiting the person from approaching you and your children and from contacting you,
  • temporary arrangements for the care of the children while the danger lasts,
  • a criminal complaint and representation of the victim in criminal proceedings,
  • the subsequent divorce, arrangements for the children and maintenance,
  • putting you in touch with professionals who can provide psychological and social support.

03How we proceed

  1. Safety – first we establish whether you and your children are in immediate danger and arrange immediate protection.
  2. Evidence – I will advise you on how to secure evidence: medical reports, photographs, messages, witnesses or police records.
  3. A swift application to the court – I will prepare an application for an interim measure, which the court decides as a matter of priority.
  4. A long-term solution – together we will plan the next steps so that the protection lasts even after the acute situation is over.
